April: The Outlander

For this feudal Japan interpretation, I thought of April O'Neil as the daughter of an Irish nobleman. As a young woman, she comes along with her father to visit Japan on business. While there, April falls in love with Japanese culture (particularly martial arts) and decides to stay and train (against her father's wishes, of course). Ten years later, she finds herself in the middle of the Ninja Turtle/Foot Clan struggle.
