Automaton Playing Card by MurderousAutomaton Automaton Playing Card by MurderousAutomaton
It's that time again to design a new business card!  Somebody must have dropped a hat. ;p Going with a playing card theme this time, so this will be the back.  It also makes a pretty snappy robot poster, so I might start selling it at conventions!  One of these days I'll have to design a whole deck of cards.  I've always wanted to...

Thank you!  I had a lot of fun with this one.  It's now the reverse side of my business cards--metallic silver on black! :la:

They look really sharp!  I got them done at SilkCards.com, if you ever want to look into doing something like that.  Besides metallic finishes, they also do embossing and custom die-cut cards! :D

Cool, thanks! I'll look them up next time I need to re-up my supply. The last set I did I got from moo.com with spot varnish.

Oh yeah, I love spot varnish!  I use it all the time.  It's a simple effect, but very striking! :D Never heard of Moo.com; I was using OvernightPrints.com for all my stuff for a while, but lately their quality seems to be going down, sadly.  SilkCards is nice for the foil effect, but they're expensive overall.  I'll take a look at Moo--thanks for the tip!

Ha!  Well, these are more along the lines of the "kill all humans" kind of robots.  They could be his cousins. :XD:

Oh, man, that'd be awesome!  I'll have to think about that in the future--that'd make an amazing promo item at shows. :la:

Automaton remembers me the Giant Iron. I don't if it's based on him but still. :3
