More old art! Two of my favorite things to do is re-draw old characters I’ve designed and make up concepts for fighting games (with moves lists and everything). So… this series concept was an idea for a fighting game featuring old characters of mine, re-drawn in a sleeker style. I abandoned it after a few characters, since I was getting more into steampunk and wanted to explore that more.

*Fun fact (for anybody that cares): My character, Americana ([link]), was originally conceived for this series. She was the one new character to go along with the old ones, and became the framing device of the series, which is why the borders and interfaces look like her red retro armor.

*Fun fact #2: My drawing series “Steam” ([link]), which was a bunch of steampunk studies, used O’Malice under the title “The Pugilist”. Americana also found her way into that series, which was her first official appearance.

Thank you! My geeky love for 40s and 50s design seems to find its way into most of what I do. :XD: I kinda wish I had finished this series, but other projects beckoned. ;p

Ha, ha! Yeah, work has been pretty over-bearing, but it'll all be worth it soon! I've got some big news I'll be sharing this weekend! Awesome, man! I'll definitely be snagging a copy when it comes out! And on a coincidental note, my Eyes of an Angel story is set to be published later this year! Just have to wait for the artist (~Natsuki-3) to finish some more illustrations for it. :D Looks like it's going to be a good year.
