Narrative: Chapter IVChapter IV: Welcome to LeBlanc

"Where am I going?  What am I doing here?  Why aren't I just at work, helping some stupid old lady pick out a DVD player she's never going to use?"

Jason's confusion and frustration, now manifested as talking to himself, compel him to pause for an answer.  Since there's nobody around to respond to his question, which was semi-rhetorical to begin with, he reverts back to his daze of angst and fret.  The break in his routine is really starting to set in, and it's not sitting well.

Jason marvels at the haunting image of the windmill, seemingly fading in and out of the surrounding whiteness.  It's immense; it seems to be at least eighty feet tall, and it sits perfectly still.  The entire thing is white, even the blades.  An immaculate white, with no mark or smudge to be seen.  It's as if it's brand new, but its presence and aura suggest an ancient nature.  How odd, he thinks.  His neck tilted back, he slowly gets closer, almost drawn to it as he studies its form up and down.  
Only a couple feet away, he slowly reaches his arm out, as if to touch its surface.  His finger, quivering with an anticip
Narrative: Chapter IIChapter II: The Void

White.  All he sees is white.  It's not altogether discomforting, just a little redundant.  Each step brings him closer to nothing.  
Although he is genuinely confused about his morning, Jason feels impressed with himself for exploring this unwonted predicament.  Sure, he's walking in nothingness, probably going nowhere, but the fact that he's walking forward is what's impressing him.  He feels like so many decisions and actions he has taken throughout his life have been a step backwards, or at best have kept him lateral.  It's not that he's never wanted something more, it's just that something always seemed to stop him

Prepare for metal and claws! I had these posters for sale at Wizard World Chicago earlier this month. I couldn't decide which color and tagline I liked the most, so I went with all three. ^__^
